Search Aphyllophorales taxonomic database
The CBS database of Aphyllophorales now contains more than 32.000 names and is continuously
being updated. Nevertheless it is still in statu nascendi, meaning that part of
the literature still has to be checked for new names or combinations, and that much
information on the included names (e.g. information on the type) has to be added,
and references to other taxonomic literature are still scanty. Taxonomic qualifications
as 'nomen dubium' have only been given when either the literature or research data
motivated it, not when it is just an old and probably forgotten name.

You can get output from the database in two ways:
You specify which names have to be retrieved, only data from these names is displayed.
This option displays both nomenclatural and taxonomic information.
You specify a genus name, and all basionyms with or without obligate and non-obligate
synonyms are shown. This option only displays nomenclatural information.
Request
The authors of this database fully realise that it contains mistakes, but hope that
even in its current condition it will be useful to scientists. Corrections and additions
will be greatly appreciated. They also realise that part of the existing literature
(which is scattered over hundreds of periodicals) has not come to their attention,
and they would appreciate reprints dealing with the taxonomy of Aphyllophorales.
