In the Dutch language “Laboratorium Magazine” of November 2009 an extensive interview with CBS Postdoc Ursula Eberhardt can be found. In the interview she tells about DNA barcoding, a CBS spearhead. The entire collection of fungi from the CBS Collection will be genetically barcoded. A database containing al the DNA sequences will certainly increase the value of the collection and simplify the identification of unknown fungi. ...more
